We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our team. This is a full-time position. Our office is located at 565 N. Tustin St., Orange, CA 92867.

Job Duties:

Prepare preliminary design proposals, including: attending initial meetings with clients to gather specific project information, preparing cost estimates and preparing technical written reports containing information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment and completion timelines; Analyze building codes, space and site requirements and other technical documents to determine their effect on the interior designs; Use computer-aided design software or other tools to create three-dimensional or interactive representations of designs; Plan layout and interior room arrangements, such as window openings and fixtures/appliances; Consult with structural engineers and other consultants and incorporate more specifications into the design, such as assembly details and relevant code information; Plan and design structures such as residential houses, commercial building, hotels or other structural properties in according with environmental, safety, or other regulations; Draw rough and detailed scale plans based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data; Prepare renderings and presentation materials, and develop final construction plans; Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or related.
